“We are farmers first and foremost and have chosen biodynamic farming to create harmonious living conditions between the land, the vines and our environment. This balance of the ecosystem through the various care given to the vineyard (working the soil, preparation based on plants, silica and compost, respect for lunar and terrestrial rhythms) allows us to offer you unique wines that are truly the pure expression of their terroir and the people who shape them.”

The Château Moncets estate is the oldest of our vineyards.
Created in 1770, it bears the name of General de Moncets, who is said to have acquired it in 1872.
Since the beginning of our conversion to organic farming in 2017, we have decided to go further by improving biodiversity within the vineyards.
The viticultural practices at Château Moncets are all designed to promote biodiversity. Recently, more than 500 meters of hedges have been planted, around fifty trees (fruit trees, local species, educational trees) have also been planted around the park, plant cover has been added to our 37 hectares of vines, five honey-producing fallows (2 hectares), around fifty nesting boxes have been installed in the park, and three central beehives have been installed to optimize this biodiversity.
All of this can be discovered through the “Parcours de la Biodiversity” created in 2018. A 500-meter walk through the park and vineyards to discover the Moncets farm with its sheep, goats, and chickens.
The estate offers tours and fun experiences highlighting its ecological commitment and offering visitors a complete immersion in a natural and preserved environment.
