The Libournais Tourist Office will guide you!

📅 From April to September, every Sunday and public holiday, discover 4 to 5 wine properties in different appellations of Libourne which open their doors to you with generosity and passion. You will meet committed winegrowers, eager to share with you the soul of their terroir, their working methods and the secrets of their vintages! A moment of conviviality and exchanges in a privileged setting telling the story of know-how and traditions.

LA TOURNÉE is a federation of artists’ workshops in eastern Gironde.

It brings together more than 25 artists’ workshops and venues for the visual arts sector spread across approximately 15 municipalities in Entre-deux-Mers, Fronsadais, Libournais, Créonnais, Castillon-la-Bataille, extending as far as Pellegrue.

“A Drink at Fayolle” Evening
Settle comfortably into the Café-Terrace at Château de Fayolle to admire the sunset to the soothing sounds of a jazz concert. A special moment that further enhances the unique atmosphere of the château.

An immersive journey through the Guyenne medieval construction site.
Created and directed by Zorika Calès, the performance blends dance, theater, circus arts, vocals, soundscapes, and poetic storytelling to bring to life the movements and spirit of the builders of old. When the builder of the past meets the builder of today…
A poetic encounter across the centuries, combining theater, dance, music, and living heritage.

Every Friday evening – two performances at 7:00pm and 9:00pm, through August 14. Duration: approximately 45–50 minutes.

Nature Walks for Toddlers (Ages 0-3)

Gentle moments in nature, designed for children… and for those who accompany them. With Sarah from La Forêt qui Danse (The Dancing Forest), explore, observe, play, and share simple moments at a toddler’s pace on the Sentier Communal des Petits-Pas (Little Steps Trail).

Introductory float fishing sessions open to the general public, with a special focus on families. Please note that these activities are not designed for pre-organized groups.

Two 1.5-hour time slots will be offered on each date: Morning: 10:30am – 12:00pm
Afternoon: 1:30pm – 3:00pm

All necessary equipment will be provided, along with a fishing pass allowing participants to fish legally for the duration of the activity.

The “Fais-moi danser à Libourne” festival kicks off on August 13, 2026; it’s still at the Esplanade François Mitterrand in Libourne and still free—we look forward to seeing a huge turnout for this 12th edition.

Thursday, August 13th: 🎬 PROGRAM CHANGE

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the show “Nous la forêt, où comment se planter” unfortunately cannot take place as scheduled.

👉 However, we are delighted to offer a replacement performance: “Pour Hêtre” by the Iéto company.

Using a tree with a delicate balance, two partners perform a series of fluid, precise, and evolving acrobatic moves that shift between static poses and dynamic action. The audience is invited to touch, climb, and support this sensitive “beech” tree (*hêtre*). Acrobats Fnico and Itamar explore the potential relationships one can have with a tree—acting variously as a base for balance or a playmate—to create unexpected shapes and figures together. Like the performers, the tree is in constant motion; it shifts shape, twists, and sways.

This exploration gives rise to situations that are amusing, strange, or poetic, while raising a number of questions. *Pour Hêtre* speaks of humanity through the ages and of time through the tree, offering a sequence of playful acrobatics.

Choral Singing Workshop – Contemporary Repertoire

This contemporary choral singing workshop is organized by the passionate members of the “Inflexion” association. For the eighth year, it has been held under the vaulted ceiling of Notre-Dame de Guîtres Abbey Church, a magnificent historical monument with superb acoustics. This workshop, focused exclusively on contemporary repertoire, allows everyone, without abandoning their choral experience, to access a particularly rich repertoire, discover it, and sing it in a wonderful setting: the Guîtres Abbey Church.

The program: Showcasing the most exclusive appellation in our region, our producers, and local winemaking expertise in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
