1 to 5 Star Classification
Furnished tourist accommodation, in accordance with Article D.324-1 of the French Tourism Code, is individual accommodation such as villas, apartments, and furnished studios offered for rental:
The classification guarantees to your customers the quality of the services, the level of comfort, and the amenities of your property.
In addition to providing a tax advantage, the classification allows you to stand out from the competition.

Article L 324-3 of the Tourism Code defines guest rooms as furnished rooms in private homes intended to accommodate tourists for a fee, for one or more nights, with additional services.
The guest room(s) must be located in the resident’s house or apartment.
The rental of a guest room includes the provision of one night’s accommodation and breakfast.
The host is responsible for hosting the accommodation. They may not rent more than 5 rooms per home, nor accommodate more than 15 people at the same time.
Each guest room provides access (directly or indirectly) to a bathroom and toilet.
It must comply with regulations on hygiene, safety, and sanitation.
The rental includes, at a minimum, the provision of linens and breakfast.
Unlike hotels, campsites, and furnished tourist accommodations, there is no official classification system for guesthouses.
However, Gironde Tourisme is developing Chambres d’hôtes Référence (Reference Guesthouses).
The objective of Chambres d’hôtes Référence (Reference Guesthouses) is to provide uncertified guesthouses with the opportunity to guarantee the quality of their services to their guests.

Launched in 2009, under the impetus of the Higher Council of Wine Tourism, the national label “Vignobles & Découvertes” aims to provide greater visibility for customers and greater visibility for the destination. It builds on existing national or local quality initiatives. It is awarded by decision of the Higher Council of Wine Tourism for a period of three years. It is granted to a wine destination and its tourism components (accommodation, restaurants, visits to wine châteaux, site visits, etc.).
The idea is to offer individual or group clients a comprehensive wine tourism offering that prioritizes quality services.
A true lever for structuring, professionalizing, and promoting the industry, it enables the networking of tourism and wine industry stakeholders working to promote the sector.
The “Vignobles & Découvertes” label recognizes tourist and wine destinations offering complementary tourism products such as châteaux tours, accommodations, restaurants, heritage activities, tastings, and leisure activities.
Many wine-growing regions in France have already been recognized with this label.
The Bordeaux vineyards are made up of six regions labeled Vineyards and Discoveries:
