🍇 Head to Château Lestrille for a picnic hike amidst the vineyards. The château’s fruity wines are delicious with food! In this rural setting, enjoy a good Bordeaux with expert advice from the winemakers: rosé, white, or red, all colors are present in the Libournais region.
🏰 Stop at Château de La Rivière! Standing like a sentinel on the heights of its vineyard, it’s impossible to miss its exceptional architecture with its princely allure. What’s next? An escape game in the château’s (some) 28 hectares of troglodyte cellars! And yes, we told you that your wine trip with friends had some wonderful surprises in store for you!
🙏 A wellness break is on the horizon! Through her Yoga & Wine workshop, Nathalie welcomes you to the Château Boutinet yurt to free your chakras with an introduction to Yoga. Enjoy a “mindful” tasting at the end of the session. A must-do in summer? Fall for the tapas hike, a gourmet excursion through the château’s vineyards.
🍷 What if it’s time to treat yourself to the full package? We recommend visiting the Chaumet vineyards, then heading to the Château de l’Évêché for a tasting for true gourmets: the vertical tasting. In short? You’ll taste all the estate’s wines from different vintages (i.e., 8 crus), accompanied by platters of charcuterie and aged cheeses. For this tasting, the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation will have the monopoly.
